I'm jumping into the WayBackMachine and get some of those... Is that a flaw on the 3 o'clock?

The dollar was pretty much consistently 4,20 DM in the sixties. Then Nixon said the Gold Standard. An ounce of gold was about $37.00.

I must say, the RK DOES look like it has the "flange" of extra material inside the loop

I agree....but then I thought if it were 'unfinished' why would it have the frosting which is apparent!

The whole magazine just shouts 'in your face' and features articals on SS etc. w/ nothing blocked out!

The Knight's Cross is very interesting though just by itself!!

Dave, I lived in Hamburg in the early 70's for a year. I worked for an ex-Luft Colonel and an Austrian Captain who ran an airline. Met some pretty 'serious' guys who had no problems discussing the good old days in English so I wouldn't miss a word. The local bar owner, also ex-Armee. Everyone was very loyal, shall we say. When I mentioned the movie the Odessa Files maybe I should have mentioned the book. It REALLY gives you the big picture about who was mayor of various cities and how important Hamburg was a 'loyal' city. These guys weren't wearning the stuff, saluting or sieg heiling, but they were very very loyal in everything they said.

Nothing anti-semitic, nothing anti-American, just very loyal to their Kameraden and the party.
