Restore KVK's?

Hi all,

These were my first awards. I bought them about 25 years ago.
I have two questions.
1. Do you think they are real?
2. The bronze colour is not very visible anymore. It's not so visible on the photo.
Is there a way to clean it?

I wouldnt clean them at all

They both look good to me. The only thing I would do is check them for maker marks.

these are zinc, you can't really clean them so don't do anything. If you do more finish can come off. Well ofcourse Renaissance wax won't hurt them and they would look a littler nice for sure.
