Ask for identification of a Kriegsverdienstmedaille

Yesterday I bought a Kriegsverdienstmedaille in a local antique market. The prize is 20$. The seller assure me that it is an original. I am puzzled, so post a thread asking for help. The medal is as follows:

    Best Regards!

For in my opinion, there is scarcely an original medal in the market of China. So I ask for identification to this medal, whether it is an original or a fake?

      3x!

The only fakes I've seen of these have been cast copies that looked very bogus. There were unusually shiny and had a seam around the outer edge from the casting process. Does this one have such a seam?

Here is such a FAKE for comparison:

weird, but it was made of a hard anodized gold color finish over what feels like cast aluminum--very light weight-- and cost me $2 in 1970...

an original cost $2 in 1970, but THIS was THEN a Scary High Tech Fake... since the other fakes back then were cast lead with spray-paint finishes!

          Your KVM looks original.

            Thanks everyone!

And I think it is worthwhile!

            Best Regards!
