It looks like an original L/54 mar, but that's about it.
This cross is complete crap, and no older then 2 years.....

Thanks Ben! Some say that the / in the L/54 maker's mark is indicative of the cross being a fake but in the WA database one is pictured... Does anyone have a picture of a correct 8 maker's mark???

Hi Anthony,

the early mark is L54, the latter mark is L/54, so the slash is an indicator for an early or late cross, not for fake or original.

I don't think you will find an original 8 mark, I have never seen one either so far...
