    Japanese made EK1 - auxiliary cruiser Thor and U-532

    Hello,

    today I want to show you some rare japanese made EK1 from my collection.

    I got the first one from the daughter of an former officer of the auxiliary cruiser Thor.

    that's not the style of japanese EK1 I'm used to seeing
    is it ironclad provenance?

      His ID card with the signature from the commander of the auxiliary cruiser Thor, Kapitän zur See Gumprich.

        I got the second one personally from the former chief ingenieur (LI "Leitender Ingenieur") of U-532. The small fixing pin was glued after the war to fix it on a wood plate.

          This photo with him in the "Wintergarten" of U-532 was taken at the 30.11.1944 in Kobe/Japan.

                  These are like cloth EK1s -- for me personally, I don't know how to judge their originality except by provenance and intuition. But I like yours a lot, and I would be very happy to own them. Congratulations .
