Here are two of my favorite items from 2010. The first is a Juncker/AWS 800-marked
EK2 with a 1. Pattern Juncker Spange. The ribbon has a buttonhole sewn into it. I'm
not sure how it would have been worn exactly.













Next is a first class version of the 1. Pattern Juncker Spange in a nice matched case.
This one came from the collection of a friend who was good enough to offer it to me.
This exact Spange is seen on the cover of George Stimson and Dietrich Maerz's book,
The Iron Cross 1. Class (2010), as well as on p. 452-456.

he also got the CCC in silver....
