Bought this as an EKII

I have bought this piece as an EKII a few days ago.

I got it today in may mail today, so I would like to ask pre or post war?

Sorry Mathias.

This appears to be the latest "Latvian fake" and they pop up everywhere.
You can find them unmarked, and with several different maker marks.

The shape of the frame, the date, and the artificial rust are the biggest red flags

Even if it is a latvian fake, I think it looks great as a gap filler till the real one comes, maybe sometimes......

The most positive thing about this, is that you "only" did buy it as a EK2, and not as a RK.
That would have been a expensive lesson then.

Thank you for your comments.

I have payed not more as for an EKII, that makes the things a little bit comfortable.

The piece is a copy, I know, but it looks really not that bad.

Not everybody here has the money for the real deal, and till my beauty comes, I have to wait and learn to spend money only for the good things.
