Another cross in the stable. This time a parade mounted K&Q "long core" 3. I neglected to ask what the meaning was of "long core" is but I assume it's referring to the long "tail" on the 3.

A very nice cross. This core has been newly christened the "long 3" core because the top stroke of the 3 is elongated, as you guessed. This fact and others may be found in George Stimson and Dietrich Maerz's new book, The Iron Cross 1. Class.Best regards,
