Silver Spanish Cross with Swords - Opinion!!!

One brasilian friend send me these pictures of the one Silver Spanish Cross. I don't know about this type of award. Some opinions, please.

I think that is one buntmetall with silver plated, correct?

Penguins indeed.
This cross was intended for the Northpole Expedition, where the Germans were fighting against the polarbear, making lebensraum for the Penguins.

I believe the cross you are referring to is this one. I have only seen this in very advanced collections, although Detlev Niemann offered one with a COA during one of his final updates, if I recall correctly.

Ahh yeah, you are correct.
I have some troubles seeing the differences between these two kind of penguins, when you compare these two diffrent crosses.
They are a very close match, if you ask me.
