I worry a little that before too long a B-type ek1 will emerge with convincing hardware and correct round three core, with no apparent evidence of re-soldering and it will be discussed and the hardware will be attributed to deumer, maybauer or some other firm and it will be proclaimed THE rarest ek1 ever.

The truth is we have waited 65 years for a schinkle B-type ek1 to show up, and to date, one has not.

I've drawn a line under these - as far as I am concerned, they do not exist and I would not trust anything that were to show up in the future no matter how convincing.

              I totally agree.

Plus I am fairly convinced the "B-type" (perfect name ) was made by Deschler.
