Spange 1st class ----- what did I get here?

Dear gentlemen!

This Spange was purchased some time ago on the estand from me. Being only an "expert" on EKs bought it because the hinge/pin system convinced me. Now, as I was looking through Dietrich's and George's book i couldnt find the maker.

Do I have a fake? Or what maker is it?

Hi Stefan,

this is a controversial clasp.
I don't believe it is original.
The reverse looks pretty convincing, but I don't like the head of the eagle.
It reminds me to much of a number of fake clasps I have seen over the past year.

that may be the one indeed.
I have seen a huge number of fakes lately, so I don't know who made what, but it might be the Floch indeed.
Plus the fact that I don't know them from , let's say, 2 years ago, but have seen at least 6 or 7 in a few months time.

If it was on the E-Stand, was it put up for discussion?
I know that Weitze has (or had) one of these on his site as well.

but that's gut feeling. I don't know of a known original that resembles this
