I'm looking at this cross at the minute. I think it's a good Deschler from the pictures I have ( I have asked for more). I have never actually seen a dk in the flesh so to speak. I used the search function on the forum and found a few DK's with this catch attachment and near enough the same looking rivets. I don't know if it's me or just the picture but the rivets and hinge look a bit lop sided. My concern with the front from these pictures is that the wreath looks bright compared to the rest of the cross, common? Maybe cleaned?. I will post close ups of the date and wreath when I get the extra pictures. At the 12 to 3 o'clock position the wreath looks off compared to the rest of the cross, you can see the red circle creeping through. Opinions from knowledgeable members of the forum would be much appreciated.
