EK2 E-stand sale

Hi,

Although this has already sold I believe this is a KvK2 case with an EK2 in it. Am I correct? Does this need to be addressed in the sdales thread?

It looks like the inner is 8 sided.

Not for an IC in my opinion.

Probably as stated for a KVK.

I agree that it is in fact a KVK box but based on the box and the EK that is in it I feel it is priced accordingly even if it is not what it is advetised as.

Probably as significant as the eight sides is that if you look closely the cross does not fit into the 3, 6, 9 and 12 o'clock sides of the cut out. Still, it is a nice box and a nice cross and I agree that the price is fair for the individual pieces. They just need to be separated. As long as the buyer is aware of that and happy with it I personally don't see a problem with the sale. Heck, if the current buyer doesn't want it I will be happy to buy it.

EK2 in a KVK2 case but really nice price

I sent a message to the seller stating that I was going to take it, but I never received a reply. I guess I was not the first one. On my message, I stated that I was going to put the case up for discussion prior finalizing the transaction for the same reason discussed here. I have a blue and a red based KVK2 cases and have been wanting to complete a pair of each. Agreed that this case is a KVK and not an EK.

I had 4 Cased EK2's for sale and immediately asked for Clarification...... " Which One was He, Talking About..... ?

In the mean time, I had Other offers clarifying what they were offering on.......

Please do not think Bad of Me..... I Bought this - at least 35 years ago...... and did not touch it in all that time... last week I touched it and photographed it (Had to remove it and turn it over....)

Please don't confuse our discussion with criticism. This often happens and I think it is because one is just reading words and makes up the tone of voice of the words in the head as they are read. It is one of the problems of this technology-as nice as it is. I used to think emoticons were silly but after doing this for a while I can understand why they were invented. You are welcome on this site and I am sorry to hear of your health problems and reason for being here. You have 40 years of experience in EK's and have one that has an incorrect box. That in itself is not a big deal but I don't think you would want a new collector who has been trying to find a cased EK II to buy it thinking it is the proper case and then find out later it is not. Sure.it's an honest mistake but if there is a way to reduce even honest mistakes we will all be better for it and so that is why we discuss things. You have brought some really wonderful pieces to the estand and I know I always like to look and see what you have posted. They must be coming out of a great collection. So please Karel do not take offense as none is meant and remember that you are always a welcome part of any discussion. The people here are well intentioned even if at times we may not seem too diplomatic about it. And, again, welcome.

Nowhere in the thread did anyone say or imply anything about you or the originality of the box.
