worn schinkel EK 1

What do you think about this heavy worn EK 1?
It looks like an early schinkel ek1 to me.
comes directly from the veterans widow (luftwaffe pilot)

cross seems good, I think it 's original, still nice.
disc was modified and maybe with screw repaired, here my disc

not the best condition but the provenance makes this piece in my mind much more attractive than an unnamed mint cross.
