EK I Godet L/50 SB - Thoughts?

Very nice cross Greg. I have a question on the L50 crosses maybe someone can answer. I have a pin back L50 and the paint is missing off the swastika like the one that started this thread. Is that a common trait from this maker? Just curious.

Hi Andy,
I have 4 L/50 pinbacks & this is the only one with the paint off the swaz. I have many other EK I's that do however. Maybe done by the owner for the swaz to stand out?

I would agree with you, Greg. I think removing the paint from the swastika was done on purpose to "enhance" the look of the cross by (hopefully) the original recipients. Every time I see one like that I think, "that guy must have been a member of the party" .
