We're down to the wire. My thanks to all those who helped and taught me.

I (think) can tell what makers did not make these crosses: K&Q, 23 and Souval.

I'd also appreciate pointers as to what makes them identifiable for each particular maker. I know, I know, I'm as asking a lot.

No K&Q and "23" here, looks like S&L parts crosses to me.

As Ja'nos mentioned - all 4 crosses display S&L cores and frames . The S&L basic cross design is found on many marked and unmarked crosses . From my observation it seams that from this maker - mm 76 on - approximatly .... a good portion of these later PKL number holders are using S&L parts . When S&L started selling cross parts is not known . Lets say - if your 76 was not marked it most likely would be considered a S&L . Out of curiosity I have looked at various marked S&L crosses and noticed a few different working dies S&L used .
