opinion on a very unusual RK!

surfing on the web i found this Knight's Cross with oak leaves, diamonds, and a ribbon embroidered on the Wehrmacht substance
size of the cross is 48mm and the fabric has some moths
have any idea about this item and its value?

I got one of those as well, but the cloth is white.
i think Ludwig hit the nail on the head, but I don;'t have a clue where they originally came from, or from what year they are...
