Yes - that cross has a Souval frame - there seems to be several different cores, however.

i must say sorry but i have tried and tried to notice the differance with these pieces the obvious yes i know of but what do you mean by cores

Souval EK2-What is real?

I have noticed over the last month or so a lot of EK2's that appear to be Souval by the frame characteristics yet all seem to have a different core. I was wondering what an original pre'45 Souval manufactured cross is supposed to look like? Can anybody post pics of the accepted standard Souval EK2.
I have seen several for sale and am not to sure what is accepted as correct and what is not.

OK - Here is the maker mark. I started a thread months ago about "98" being mixed up with "86" on numerous dealer sites. I don't think there is an "86".
