RK Mini?

Guys,

I posted this in a different forum, but thought I would try it here to.. I was told that one had come up recently and that it wasn't liked. So I thought I would post it here and see what was said.

I've not bought it as it's up for auction. Just curious about your opinions!

I'm not too up on RK minis, but I think I do remember these mini oaks being shown here recently and being deemed fake
pretty easy to get a mini EK, a few inches of mini ribbon, fake oaks, and bingo!
do a search for mini RK, and have a look. I may be wrong...

I did so a search and I found another one like this on this forum, but it was in much worse shape and less detailed than this.. but I'm only curious about it and if anyone has a real one or has pictures of a real one.

I have a similar one. Since ages. Marked "900". I personally think that this one is good.

The one Dietrich has looks good, but the other is a mini ek2 IMO. Look at the jump ring that the oaks are attached to, it is reversed from the example that Dietrich shows, not to mention the ring for the oaks looks to reattached to fit the ek2 jump ring IMO, like Jon suspects, it is a put-together fake, maybe made from original parts as the detail does looks pretty good.

Hi Ken,
Do you think the position of the jump ring means anything. It looks like the oaks were not repaired, but altered to fit the ek2 style jump ring, very poorly I might add.
