Iron Cross 1st Class x2

Hi guys

I am going to invest in some good up to date reference books but I was wondering if you could help me with regards to these two crosses. The first I feel could be an original but I have seen this type of pin on some known fakes but I haven't seen this style of hinge before. The second I'll be honest and say I don't really have a clue, the pin gives me a gut feeling that it's bad.
