    Schinkel EKII

I just purchased this Schinkel one-piece EKII. Is this a Meybauer? Thanks for your help. Jim

    Hi Jim,

In my opinion it is an Otto Schickle piece.
    Best regards,
    Streptile

Looking for ROUND BUTTON 1939 EK1 Spange cases (LDO or PKZ)

Good catch Jim. Is 't possible to have a pic of your Schinkels (pic of the group) ?

                Ben

I do but it has a different date style than this one, and I think it is a Deumer because of the characteristics of the date.

Fabri, when I receive this cross I will post the collection. Jim

                  Thanks Jim.
I 'm curious to see your new Schinkel too because at 1st sight I thought was the same type seen in the last pics.

The first cross has balls on 9 and 3, the second cross has no ball (which is typical of a Deumer). Jim

Jim, can you post better pics of the 1st cross??

The second one-piece you shows is most likely a Schickle, they have the same date as the one-piece ek1

I think the balls are an optical illusion, caused by the gloss of the paint.
So far I have only seen 2 types of the one-piece schinkel, and they are the same, except for the thickness.

                      best regards,
                      ben

Ben, will have to wait until I receive the cross for pictures. Jim

I realized it to late Jim, but I still think it's the same maker, and the balls are an optical illusion.....

Go with Schickle too. Nice one though, they often got small paint losses like that. Paint does not adhere well to silver plating.

Just received the cross and it is the same one that I have already, so it is a duplicate. Jim
