Deumer EK11 Question

Hello:
New to the forum. I am in the process of buying my first EK11. My Question is did Deumer make their own frames or did they also use S&L frames with the cores they made. The reason I ask is that I have my eye on a unmarked EK11
that has a core that looks very much like a Deumer but the frame is differant.

Deumer used their own frames, either Schinkel or regular. Both are incredibly distinctive and easy to spot. The cores Deumer used, were not used by any other maker as far as I know (unless you mean 1914 cores). The cross you mention probably has a Deumer frame, or it doesn't have a Deumer core. Of course it could be an anomaly, so please post photos now that we are all curious...
