Jozef - Thank you for providing this information. I was curious as to how your example compares with a Souval in my collection. The question was prompted after the weight of my unmarked, magnetic, pin-back was checked against the weight of a similar cross shown on page 355, and the range of weights quoted on page 346, of The Iron Cross 1. Class, (Maerz & Stimson). While mine falls within the size size envelope, it weighs a hefty 20.3g, even more than some screw-backs. I find this degree of variability surprising but perhaps it was the norm.
