Cross in Gold - heavy & light - dates?

Hello;

Does anyone know with certainty the years that the heavy and light version of the German Cross in Gold were produced?

The heavy version was followed by the light version - what date/year was the light version issued?

I have a light version Zimmerman marked 20 and I am trying to determine the earliest possible award date/year.

Hi,

first , came the heavy multi-rivets types, then the heavy 4-5 rivets types, and then the light CuPal version. Date is difficult to say. I know winners that in 1944 given official decorations heavy types, they gived what had stocked .....

Do you know what date the lighter Zimmerman 20 was developed and issued?
