    New EK1 Spange

I want to show my new EK1 Spange. If I'm not mistaken the maker is "Raptor"

Thanks to the member who sold me this at my request. I had always wanted one, just to examine.

I don't know why I'm showing it here... but it is a decent looking thing.

Looks like a raptor I think.
Why would you want one of those ?

I'm not entirely sure why I wanted a Raptor, but I had always been curious about them. There is only so much you can tell from a photo. So I made an offer on this one from a fellow member and got it. I just think it's interesting.

The quality is really not up to the level of the good pieces, but it's not terrible. Only a very experienced hand would be able to tell the difference based on quality and materials alone.
        Best regards,

There's nothing wrong with acquiring a repro for studying purposes -- provided that you don't pay the price of an authentic example to get it.

I currently have it on germanmilitariacollectibles.com for $850*.

                      * Notorious dumping ground for fakes. This is a joke.

The problem with these raptors, is that I have never seen the priced as a repro.

But sure, if the price was right, then I do not see any problem with it.

I also have a RK repro, because I can't afford the real deal

                            Hi Flemming,

If you check the Bazaar section here you can sometimes find them selling as repros. The going rate is about $50. I picked this one up from a fellow forum member for a repro price -- as I've said, out of curiosity.
                            Best regards,
