    EK II - Round 3

    Two Place Medal Bar.

    My latest Round 3.

Looks to be a Heavy. No beveling on the corners.

Swazi might be on a plateau but hard to tell.

Yours looks to be the thin variety with the beveled edges.

nice crosses, but there are no Deschlers in this thread (unless Deschler mnade all these round 3 crosses as well, which I do not believe)
If you search for Deschler round 3 you will find some, and I am sure that you will see the difference.

I agree with Ben, the Deschler Round Three crosses are very distinctive and very recognisable as being from Deschler. The crosses on this thread are only thought to be from Deschler based upon the way the suspension ring is mounted to the top of the frame.

I agree, nice crosses but no Deschlers here.

Deschler R-3s are the rarest of the "regular" R-3 EK2s.
                      Best regards,

So very distinctive ring for Deschler but it is not Deschler. So who made it then ? When I posted my cross, you guys told me it is Deschler, now it is not.. I like this questionable answers

It may be a bit confusing indeed.
There are collectors that believe Deschler made " your" type of round 3 as well.

Although it IS possible, I don´t believe that theory, since each and every Deschler I have seen so far has the same frame, no matter if it´s ek1 or 2, early or late.
