    Juncker EK2 on Parade Mount

    Hello All,

I believe this is a Juncker EK2 on this two-place parade mount with Olympic Medal. The EK2 was fairly tightly bound to the mount, so I could not readily see the ring or hump, and unfortunately this is the only picture I have at the moment. I don't have any dimensions either, nor did I check if the core is magnetic...

I am looking for any opinions, particularly on how common it is to find these mounted like this.

    Thank you!

    Eric

That is a super nice Juncker, and in my opinion very possibly non-magnetic.

It's not terribly uncommon to find them mounted like that. As to the rarity or desirability of the other medal, I have no idea.

Just looking at that cross reminds me of why I love Junckers.

        Buy it.
        Best regards,

Eric, check post #2 HERE to see the particular frame / core combo I think it is. The core could be different, I'm not 100% sure.

                Nice one George.

Clearly it has not yet received the "book photo" treatment

Here are some better pictures now that I have it in hand.

The height is 44.1mm x 44.2mm across. The core is non-magnetic (as suspected).

For those interested in the Olympic Medal - it is magnetic, there are no MMs around the circumference of the rim, and it is the most lustrous one I have ever seen - all my others appear coin-silver in color, not bright and shiny like this one.

                        Thanks,

                        Eric
