Here is my mm16 EK2. A relatively rare maker I think. Unfortunately, not very nice condition. Is there any way I can repair the separate rim?

You could probably get the rim repaired, but I wouldn't. It's fine the way it is, IMO.

A decent example from a rareish maker as you say. I fully agree with George, leave the split as it is, trying to effect a repair may cause more problems than is necessary.

Do not repair anything. It is fine like this. I am missing mm 16 quite lond time.
