      Hello Trevor,

These have come up before and as they do not have what I consider to be the standard Souval characteristics I think they are not period authentic. I stand to be corrected however if the current thinking is otherwise.

I did send the seller a PM earlier today asking if he had discussed that cross in the Cross Forum. I note he opened the PM but as yet I have not received a reply.

      Regards,
      Stu

From my limited knowledge, I have always understood this type of cross to be a post-war Souval set-up. It does not match any other known period L/58's, which used the 'standard' Souval frame.

        Regards - Danny

I think this one is a post war Ek2.

            A little late, but done.

Don't worry all is fine, the cross is coming back to me and the seller received a refund.
Thanks to all the memebers for their time, in regards to this issue.

                Hi Jozef,

Thanks for the update. As you are new here your reputation is as yet unknown to us and it's good to see you are not here to sell fakes.

                Regards,
                Stu
