    Many Thanks,
    Tintin.
I don't like it too much, the finish looks too new and weird and catch is not really good to me.

I am not an expert on these, but if you have not bought it I would pass.

    Best Regards,

    Adren

        Hi Tintin,

I don't think it is a good one. it looks to be a forgery based on an original.
the employed metal doesn't match, thus the marking, even if the weight is in the right range.
Silver cross marked CEJ without any silver tamp is also odd.
        Best regards

I can't really explain my feeling. Something rings me that it is not good even if some details appear to be right. the color is odd, it is not the original silver wash and it doesn't even looks to a cleaning.
the missing silver stamp is also a bad point. the reverse doesn't show the usual pebbling.

Wow, those close ups and straight on shots make it even scarier! I would have liked to have this one in hand.

If this is a fake, they're getting awfully good.

Also there is no evidence that the "lumps" were ever there

The bumps between the sword on the reverse. Upper left when looking at the reverse. You know what I am talking about, you aren't understanding my term is all Jacques.

If other opinions confirm it as a copy, it is indeed a very very dangerous fake.
