Fabri, I dont think your EK is a Meybauer ... I would be very interested to hear what the others think of it.

These are a collecting field unto themselves. I have several examples, Deumer, C. F. Zimmermann, Schauerte & Höhfeld, Alois Rettenmaier, B. H. Mayer, S&L.... I'd like to get a Deschler!

              Hi Simon,

Why do you think it's not? I'm not sure either way, but the core is the same as your L/13 and the frame looks similar too. I'm just curious to know what differences you see.
              Best regards,
              Streptile

Hi Trev ... I spent a little while looking at this one last night and tried a merge of the pics.
I also thought the frames looked similar, but then again thought I could see some differences in the beading. As Fabri said "frame has many flaws and it 's not so clear" ... Thats where I was hoping for some other opinions.
The cores look very similar too, but Im sure I can see some small differences of the crown and the date, especially the 4, ... What are your thoughts on this ?.

                Best regards,
                Simon.

Fabri, here are some close ups of the crown and date details from my two Meybauer, do they compare well with your core ?.
It would be nice to see some close detail of the crown and date from your crosses core.

Great pics Fabri ... Well it does seem to be a Godet style core, so upon reflection I would say that it probably is an unmarked L/13 Meybauer with messy beading .

Thank you Simon for your help, I agree that could be very probably a Meybauer.
Thanks to Trevor that helped me too, you have had a good eye in that e-mail
