Use of Wiederholungsspange for the EK2 on MEDAL BARS - VARIOUS TYPES???????????????

Dear Forum,

Picked up a nice medal bar this weekend with a Wiederholungsspange for the EK2 on it. I believe they have used the regular one that were also worn on the button ribbon of the tunic. I have however also seen medal bars which have a smaller version of this Wiederholungsspange on it. Can anyone enlighten me on the use of the variety of EK spanges on the medal bar? THANKS!

I have no problems with accepting the period practice of using a full-size WHS on a bar. I don't know if yours specifically is good, but I would not rule it out just because of the size of the Spange.
