Ek2, possible "108"?

Hi. I got this EK2 today. The cross itself looks good, but there is a makers mark which I cant figure out.

As i've heard 108 Arno Wallpach did not make Ek2.

Could this be a postwar stamp? Could it be 106,109?

And let's say that the ring is postwar, then who is the maker of the cross?

No serious, as far that I know of, 108 did not make Ek2's.. But I could be wrong and I hope for you.

Or else maybe the ring are replaced? It would be very easy with this type of ring.

original cross with replaced ring. 99.9% of all ek2's have soldered rings.
