    Denazzed SB L/50

Just got this one! Factory vaulted with the manufacturer's stamp upside down on the 12 o'clock arm; the jeweler must have had it upside down when it was struck.

Thanks to Steinar who let me know that the original asking price was too high. With that information I was able to bargain and get it at a reasonable price!

Reverse, cross oriented so that the obverse date is on the 6 o'clock arm

      Nice Anthony.

L/50 stamps are not uncommon in this position.

I think you must have a very interesting collection of EK1s by now.
      Best regards,

Thanks Trevor! Unfortunately I've got the most common EK1s and now I'm on to the more scarce variations. The curse of collecting these denazzed crosses is that the screw back versions have usually had the disk cannibalized for other untouched crosses missing the same part. Oh well, on to the next...

Hard to find. Are you sure it 's factory vaulted ?? I think Godet didn't produce vaulted crosses in the mid-late period.

Yeah. I'm pretty sure that its factory vaulted since all the arms are curved at a similar angle and the inner corners of the center beading are flush to the core, not lifting up like a lot of hand vaulted ones... Could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time...

                      nice work ausgang!

the core looks to have some corrosion on it but a good cross regardless

what crosses are you missing from your collection?

Thank you. You 're right, ok pics are not very clear but we can see the cross is vaulted and inner corners of the center beading are really flush to the core.. interesting !
