    Hi Guys!
Just received this cased EK I Juncker Screwback from a very reputable dealer (my favorite!). This is one of the 1st cases I've seen without a latch & button. The EK is slightly vaulted which I know was against the rules at the time.
    Your thoughts?
    Thanks!!!
    Greg

      Hi Greg,

I believe this cross has a typical W&L frame, which is acceptable for an L/12. It certainly has a great (if somewhat polished up) look to it. The proportions on the Juncker/W&L frame are very easy on the eyes.
      Best regards,
      Streptile

I thought on first look it had been cleaned also! I love the look of (against regulation) vaulted crosses and imagine this would stand out in a crowd Greg!
Very nice cross with a great late wartime Halbetui!
          Congrats Greg!

Very nice cased L/12 marked W&L EK1 . The coloring/sheen is not quit the normal NI-alloy appearance .. exspecialy the front . Greg - can you tell if it is plated or polished on the back . And on the front - except the top points - is there a fine white-ish surface covering on the frame ? ..... or is it just a strange light reflection ?
Possible to get a weight of the cross without the disk ?

Hi Douglas! The cross does not look polished or plated, I took the photos in the sunlight which makes it look brighter/reflective vs more normal. very silmiliar to several other newer EK's in my collection.
                  Thanks!
                  Fabri...Thanks!!

Not any lighter than my other EK I SB's.

Guys, sorry to bring up this very old thread, but I'm trying to learn Juncker cores. With a lot of great help, on my way with Juncker EK II's.

But I can seem to figure this one out?

Any clue on the maker of the core?

                          Thanks again!

                            Hi Greg,

I'm not sure this thread qualifies as "very old"

I'd say this is a W&L core, but their nicest one (some are not such nice designs in my opinion).

                            We'll see if others agree.
                            Best regards,
