    Spanish Cross without Swords marked L/32

    Hi Guys

    Could I get some opinions on this one please.

    There may be some good "down-tailed eagle" SK's, but I don't believe this is one of them.

      Apart from the 'Down-turned' tails, I'm not aware of L/32 ever being a SC maker.

        It's fake.
        To the best of my knowledge the SC w/out swords is a one-piece striking.

            Sal, that is what some fellow-collectors here wrote a while ago.
            The cross with swords have separate eagles soldered to the cross, the SC w/out swords are struck in 1 piece, eagles included.

            I am far from an expert on these, but I can still see this cross is not good

              Ben, That is simply not true. The crosses without swords are almost always of the soldered type.

                Ben,

                Sal is correct. Here are 2 photos of my SC in bronze (L/13) and silver (L/15) without swords.
                Both have soldered eagles.
