From what I've gathered the first one is a fake due to the uneven gaps between the head/wing and the broad weave of the ribbon - I returned one two weeks ago exactly the same. I've seen the cases for sale on Weitze for around 80 (eur/$ I cannot remember which).The second one I've never seen.

Hi Paul,

I'm afraid I don't like both of them. You didn't tell us if thet were marked but the first one looks a lot like a fake Godet.

Number two looks like a fake to me as well especially the date bar which to me looks completly wrong.

The good news, I like the ribbon on number two.

A for the cases maybe Marcus can tell us a bit more, but to me me they look very new.

My opinion differs a bit from Pascal´s:

-first one known fake

-second one, very likely good. See attached pic of one Detlev sold. It is not just that fact which makes it good of course, but the one on Detlev´s pic looks very good and believable finishwise and has the same unique and strange date. I would hold on to it.

-third and fourth spange identical, both good.
