Scan of S&L KC with die flaws

Here is a scan of a KC I was offered a few months ago. I did not buy it but was tempted. I showed this to many knowledgable collectors/dealers and to a man no one said this was a fake (including me) BUT no one said they would buy it either if it was offered to them because of the controversy. I wonder what it is going to take to get this controversy solved! Thinking out loud if it was a fake all it would have taken was a small file and about 2 minutes and the flaws would have been gone.
Could it be good KC's are being labeled as bad?

Anyway many of you have asked for close up pics of the flaws so here it is.
