    RK Konvolut

I have a nice "ritterkreuz" konvolut, it belonged to Oberstleutnant Heribert Stather who served from 1936 till the end of the war in the Wehrmacht. In 1940 he fought in France and was send to Russia from 1941 till the end of the war, he passed away in 1991. Unfortunately my information about him ends in august 1945 when he became a "Wehrmacht entlassene". This Konvolut was derictly aquired from the collector that got it from the family and was never before on the market. Here a picture, I'll make better pictures later, I hope you'll like it.

You have to be an Association member to post pictures directly (attach them) in a post. Otherwise, your option is to post them on another site or server and link to them.

              Thanks Leroy,
The Konvolut of Heribert Stather is very complete and contains also 3 photo albums from the period 1936 - 1944 and all paperwork belonging to his 10 medals.

Wow! I would love to have a grouping such as this someday.

Very nice - I hope you are the custodian for a long time, as it would be a crying shame to see something this perfect broken up and cast to the winds of history.

Yes, he wore this RK during wartime. At the backside of the RK you can see where his top jacket button has been rubbing the cross, at four positions near the back centre of the RK the silver is a little polished. In the grouping only his last worn jacket was left, no other cloth headgear. Also his "panzer vernichtungs abzeichen" is very rare, both documents belonging with this abzeichen are also in this grouping. All his medals and shoulderboards of his various tunics still are in this grouping.
