I ordered two versions - the leather and normal edition!
Hope I will get the normal edition seperate before, due to the leather version was lost! And I hope now, not to wait for one combine shipment! Because I paid both shipments If this would happend, I curse it to order the special leather edition

Sometimes it is very helpful to read! And I quote myself (post #71):

The Leather Edition has been found and we will ship on Monday. We also will have some at the MAX show.
Your two books left yesterday (which was Monday). Now it is up to the German custom and police to decide whether you get it or not .... I did my part. No need to curse anything nor anybody.... yet!

And, to answer a notion you posted at MFF: the book does NOT include the general WW1 version of the Iron Cross but it DOES include the WW1 versions made after 1939.

And thanks so far to all the members here for the very nice comments and the e-mails. George and myself, we both sincerely hope that we have created a solid base for all authors coming after us to build on!

Just recieved my copy, when I got home tonight. Had a brief skim through. Fantastic and very quick delivery from the US.
I am really looking forward to reading up on the subject.

              regards John

Thank you! But please don't forget George! Without him this book would not have been possible at all! I could not have done it alone!

Curses.....now I have to find the Petz and Lorenz. Thanks alot George and Dietrich, it is all your fault.

I have had a wonderful time trying to devour every nuance in this fine tome. George and Dietrich are to be commended on this monument to our hobby.
