    Hi Stefan,

I recall Trevor recently made a good case for Otto Schickle being the maker of these crosses. I'll have to search for the thread.....

Do you think that it is a Otto Schickle, due to the brother EK1 have the same screwback?

I would like to know what thread, ie metric or imperial was used on the spigot and nut if thats vwhat you call it.
It looks very weak to me and ripped through.
Not a proper die nut used here.
I say die nut because thats what you use to repair threads.
So not a proper die used or just cheep crap metal .
        kn

Put it this way that thread would not hold any friction what so ever when tightened, it will just spin.
Fake i would not like to comment on that .

Well with those threads they must have all been lost in wear.
Arr thats why there is little known on these mmmm scratch my head.

Is there a hole at the top of the spigot and clam to have some positive locking otherwise there is no way that the thread shown would clamp tight .Perhaps they should have used a castle nut.
