        Based on the shrinked beading in the lower part of the left side of the upper arm I think you're right. Is the core magnetic? Many W&L's have not magnetic cores.

                Over the production time - dies wear out . Frame dies wear out much faster than core dies . The one is the 2rd core die .

                    It's a good late W&L. I'm not sure it's accurate to say that many W&Ls had non-magnetic cores. In fact, I would be interested if someone could show me one non-mag W&L EK2...
