    EK1 Wilhelm Deumer opinions please

Before I buy this nice cross I would like a confirmation about L/11 marked EK1.
    Comments welcome.
    Thanks.

    Boy, I don't know. It doesn't look like a Deumer-shape to me.

I've not seen too many truly convincing fakes of the L/11, but this one looks suspicious to me.

    We definitely need better photos.
    Best regards,
    Streptile

I think it's a new-breed "German Fake" but I need better photos to be sure.

The shape of the frame is wrong for a Deumer.

Remick, we need better, straight-on photos. If that's not possible, then pass on it. There are plenty of good L/11s in the world.
        Best regards,

Thanks Greg, I had to rescue it from you US collectors a while back , New York if i remember correctly

I cant compare it that well to the original one posted, its certainly a dam good effort if it is bad, even appears to have that cream frosting finish

The reverse pin, the place of the C-catch and the positioning of the frontal date differs with all genuine exaples like showed here afterwards.

Thanks a lot for the efforts and comments.
Since I am newbie in this and I do not have any experience evaluating the authenticity, it is good to receive input from more knowledgeable members.
After conversation with seller he confirmed that EK1 he was selling is copy.

                        Thank you all much appreciated.

How much was the seller asking for it?

Price for that cross was 56 €. I leave it at the seller, which has been very cooperative. No problems with that.

a bargin had it been a real one then , sounds like seller knew it was a repro along and not trying to get 150e for it
