        Hey Greg,

Where did you get that unmarked EK1? I've been hoping (praying) to see a 1939 Otto Schickle with typical WWII L/15 frame and core and that exact pin. Until now I never saw one. The reason is, it is one more (probably final) piece of evidence that Schickle made these EKs:

Here is some of the rest of the available evidence: http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...light=Schickle

...but it also convinces me (actually, I was already convinced long ago) that this EK (Robert's is shown here) is also a Schickle:

        Photo + cross: Robert Pierce

So to me that's a very important unmarked EK1 you show there.
        Best regards,
        Streptile

Looking for ROUND BUTTON 1939 EK1 Spange cases (LDO or PKZ)

          Hi Trev!
Holy cow! I guess God does take care of the ignorant. I picked it up from a WAF member. Here's close up pics of the unmarked Otto EK I. If you'd like any other shots, let me know!
          Great & thanks!

An absolutely stunning array you have there, Greg.

A ''set''of such examples I've always had the intention of acquiring for my lacking EK collection - plus a couple of others.
