Hi

Please can people tell me if this is an original EK1?

It is brass one piece - the pin is magnetic. Unfortunately the centre has been repainted .

I may be wrong, but for some reason I am not to keen on this one.
Te round ribbed corners around the swas remind me of the L15 with pebbled core, and the hardware can also be found on modern copies.
This is one you can't really judge on unless you have it in hand.


Based on this pics I would pass, but then agian: I may be completely wrong.

IMO id pass on it (brass EK's are in that gray area for me, unless you really know what you are looking for, you may get burnt )

Genuine 39er or not, I like it! I'd get it just to put it in the questionable pile. Wouldn't pay more that ten pounds at the most if I saw it at a car boot sale..
