                        Double-marked S&L

                        Not as common as the type with both marks on the pin, but they exist and this is one of them.

                              Rick, As George wrote most S&L's are double stamped on the pin. You can thank the worker that made this for locating the LDO stamp under the catch!
                              Due to the fact that S&L crosses were marked on the pin in most all cases... this was probably a first time made for PKZ standard 4 marked cross, perhaps an order for the LDO came along and a quick L/16 stamp was added under the catch to help fill the order quickly?

                              I wonder if any other members have an example like this they could post for comparison?
