    Frame pierced EKII

Morning all, there's something that i want to show here cause i think it's a kind of strange and i would like to have your opinion.
Got an interesting EKII that was holed on the frame sothat the small suspension ring (both rings are soldered) is quite free to move.
Once i got it on hands, just a little shake and the cross was swinging aside to the other...
well i have to say that it reminded me the moving of an RK on the neck... just kidding
Does anyone have seen anything like that before?
    Many thanks,
    Stefano

Interesting! I would think IMO that it is a jewelers repair of a cross that had jump ring break off? interesting flaws in the beading!

It's a truly exceptional looking cross, even before the odd jumpring.

          Thanks for your comment guys.
The jump ring job was very well made, no scratches or any other sign on the metal, it must have been a jeweler or so, agree with you Kevin.
Trevor it's really a unique loocking cross and i particulary like the flaws all around the frame. Is that a standard S&L construction, right?
          Cheers,
          Stefano

In my opinion, a jeweler's repair / replacement of the small ring. Nice cross. -Ger

Yeah, standard way to replace a busted jump ring, seen loads like that. That is a nice job that someone did though. Good looking cross...
