I have about 16mths grace until my girlfriend finishes her post grad and is in a position for first time house hunting to begin, until then my house deposit is sitting on shelves whilst i continue to live with and annoy mum and dad . I expect they'll be going then, unless she wants to swap the cottage on the beach for a caravan in which case they may be safe or going to live with Nick

they are all inert Douglas, however if the shelf did fail the bottom shelf might just stop you finding out.. there she blows

although they are already safe when i get them, i dont know how thats done
