    Wounded Clasp

This Deumer Clasp looks like he took it in the chin... at some point (when he was made or after) his beak got marked.

Here's the back. I've noticed several different accepted variations of this maker (I have one from George that's different, and one from Tim Ball). I also have another L/11 that's a little different, how about a thread on these? Do you have some to post?

And here's one that's unmarked. (I can't show the back because it's on the ribbon.)

You unmarked one looks the same as my unmarked one (not pictured in this thread) but the marked one is different. Any more pictures folks?

The super sleek beak is a trait I often see in Second Class Deumer Spangen.

              Hi Guys ,

Here is my rather beaten up L/11 in Zinc. looks like a match to George first clasp

I'm trying to determine the different styles (you know why George!). I think my marked wounded one is the same as your unmarked one.

Are your Spangen tombak or zinc?

Nothing in particular, just taking some photos of these for the site and it was glaring at me. There are at least 2 types, as far as I can see, and it's interesting to know them.
