Are you sure the reverse is the same cross as the obverse?
The Obverse looks like a K&Q to me ....

I see what you mean, but I think it's the shadows.

Thanks everyone. Front and back are DEFINITELY the same cross. This is the only EK1 I own and is the pride of my collection. My 1st Model Luft also used to be the pride of my collection until I just found out this morning that the fittings don't match and it looks like the dagger and scabbard were not made to go together. Despite my sadness on the dagger I'm so happy everything worked out with the Cross.

Also, Weisner, I'm happy to hear you are excited about this cross. Being reaquainted with this hobby I'm always eager to learn more. What is it about this particular cross that makes it of such interest? Is it the condition, maker, case, etc... or a combination of all? Thanks.

                        SammyT.

Sam, I have always been draw to the Meybauer frams and cores! Excellent beading, crisp core details, I also really like the look of the early Meybauer EKI Pins!
Same goes for their EKII's! Just personal preference I suppose!
                          Regards!

King Naga, I do have a 10x and 30x loops, but to be honest with you, I wouldn't even know what to look for. Is there something you see that is giving you doubts about this cross?
